Muscle nutrition is first step.

Muscle nutrition is the first step for everyone who wants to take care of his body and health. Before to try any workout plan you should learn about muscle nutrition because it is the exact way to reach your goal.

Muscles: some ideas.

Muscles are so crucial to any animal. They are efficient at turning fuel into motion. Their function is to produce force and motion. They are primarily responsible for maintaining and changing posture, locomotion, as well as movement of internal organs, such as the contraction of the heart and the movement of food through the digestive system via peristalsis. Thus It would be impossible for you to do any physical activity without your muscles.

Muscle Nutrition

As I say muscle function to produce physical activity, but what our muscles need as energy to do its job?
Muscle demands optimum nutrition to do any activity , which are carbohydrates and fats as fuel, proteins to build and maintain lean tissues, vitamins and minerals to support both energy metabolism and tissue building, and water to help distribute the fuels and to dissipate the resulting heat and wastes.
Any muscle in our body responds quickly When called upon, without taking time to metabolize fat or carbohydrate for energy. Its starting to move depend on its supplies of quick-energy compounds ATP(adenosine triphosphate) and CP(creatine phosphate).
ATP is present in small amounts in all body tissues all the time, and it can deliver energy instantly. When an ATP molecule is split, its energy is released, and the muscle cells channel some of that energy into mechanical movement and most of it into heat.
CP is stored in the muscle, is made from creatine, a compound commonly found in muscles, with a phosphate group attached. Immediately after the onset of a demand, before muscle ATP pools dwindle, CP can split to release phosphate and replenish ATP supplies. The breakdown of nutrients-carbohydrate, fat, and protein-, generates ATP all day every day, and so maintains the supply. So during rest, the body derives more than half of its ATP from fats (fatty acids) and most of the rest from carbs (glucose), along with a small percentage from protein (amino acids).

Carbs

During digestion, carbs are broken down into simple sugars (glucose), which stored in the liver and muscles as glycogen. Throughout physical activity the muscle breaks down its glycogen and releases the glucose to fuel its work. ATP comes from carbs.

Fats

If duration of physical activity is more than 20 minutes, Hiking for exemple, the glycogen stores are depleted. So with aerobic metabolism and a hormone secreted by the adrenal gland (adrenaline) signals the fat cells to begin breaking down their stored triglycerides and liberating fatty acids into the blood. So If you are breathing easily during activity, the muscles are getting all the oxygen they need and are able to use more fat in the fuel. That means ATP comes from fat.

Proteins

Protein is not a major fuel for physical activity. Protein is used to build muscle and other lean tissues. After a hard activity such as running or Weight lifting or any exercises, our muscle fibers needs protein to fully repair a damage that is caused by those exercises. The muscle doesn’t just repair them to their previous state, however; it builds them bigger and stronger so it can better handle the stress of exercise.

Vitamins and Minerals

-Vitamin B6 is stored extensively in muscle tissue, and it enhances muscle strength.
-Vitamin C is very important to muscle.
-Vitamin D improves muscle performance.
-Potassium and Sodium are essential to nerve impulse transmission and muscle contraction.
-Calcium participates in muscle contraction.
-Magnesium is involved in muscle contraction.

In order to get healthy give your body what it need.
